A number is a mathematical object used to count, measure, and label.
A number is a concept.
A concept is something conceived in the mind : a thought, or notion. 2 : an abstract or generic idea generalized from particular instances.
A number isn't real. By 'real,' I simply mean a number doesn't exist as a tangible object. As stated above, a number is a tool that is used to count, measure and label the world around us. A tool that we as humans have found very useful in molding our individual and collective realities.
We embrace the abstract concept of a number because it's deeply embedded in our view of the world.
How old are you?
What time is it?
Where is that located?
How much does that cost?
What are the measurements?
All of the above questions are just a few instances where we as a species find numbers very useful. However, we only find these numbers useful because we've created activities
But why?
Why are these numbers so useful?
The only reason I can find is because if can measure something, we can change it. And if we can change something, then we have control. Right?
Well, maybe. Partially at least. Because though we don't cha the time
If you'd like to feel as if you're making an impact on the world, you mut first feel as if yo're making an impact, But even before that , you mst feel, period. You must be okay with what you're feeling and not be segragated from it. Suffering comes when we are unable to detach from our emotional investment with current circumstances. And joy comes from our ability to attach to our emotional investment in our current circumstance.

When I was younger I would often ask the 'adults' why it was such a big deal if I were to kill myself. I never wanted to
So I'm trying to figure out the best way to live while I'm still alive.
And so far all I've got is that my existent is a lot like a number.
I'm used when needed, I'm very significant, I'm used to measure, I'm sometimes not higher than you thought, or lower than you were thinking, often times I'm divided to evenly, w
